NET Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleEnglish Standard Version
"'When a person presents a grain offering to the LORD, his offering must consist of choice wheat flour, and he must pour olive oil on it and put frankincense on it.1“When anyone brings a grain offering as an offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour. He shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it
Then he must bring it to the sons of Aaron, the priests, and the priest must scoop out from there a handful of its choice wheat flour and some of its olive oil in addition to all of its frankincense, and the priest must offer its memorial portion up in smoke on the altar--it is a gift of a soothing aroma to the LORD.2and bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. And he shall take from it a handful of the fine flour and oil, with all of its frankincense, and the priest shall burn this as its memorial portion on the altar, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and to his sons--it is most holy from the gifts of the LORD. 3But the rest of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the LORD’s food offerings.
"'When you present an offering of grain baked in an oven, it must be made of choice wheat flour baked into unleavened loaves mixed with olive oil or unleavened wafers smeared with olive oil.4“When you bring a grain offering baked in the oven as an offering, it shall be unleavened loaves of fine flour mixed with oil or unleavened wafers smeared with oil.
If your offering is a grain offering made on the griddle, it must be choice wheat flour mixed with olive oil, unleavened.5And if your offering is a grain offering baked on a griddle, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mixed with oil.
Crumble it in pieces and pour olive oil on it--it is a grain offering.6You shall break it in pieces and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.
If your offering is a grain offering made in a pan, it must be made of choice wheat flour deep fried in olive oil. 7And if your offering is a grain offering cooked in a pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
"'You must bring the grain offering that must be made from these to the LORD. Present it to the priest, and he will bring it to the altar.8And you shall bring the grain offering that is made of these things to the LORD, and when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar.
Then the priest must take up from the grain offering its memorial portion and offer it up in smoke on the altar--it is a gift of a soothing aroma to the LORD.9And the priest shall take from the grain offering its memorial portion and burn this on the altar, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
The remainder of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and to his sons--it is most holy from the gifts of the LORD. 10But the rest of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the LORD’s food offerings.
"'No grain offering which you present to the LORD can be made with yeast, for you must not offer up in smoke any yeast or honey as a gift to the LORD.11“No grain offering that you bring to the LORD shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey as a food offering to the LORD.
You can present them to the LORD as an offering of first fruit, but they must not go up to the altar for a soothing aroma.12As an offering of firstfruits you may bring them to the LORD, but they shall not be offered on the altar for a pleasing aroma.
Moreover, you must season every one of your grain offerings with salt; you must not allow the salt of the covenant of your God to be missing from your grain offering--on every one of your grain offerings you must present salt. 13You shall season all your grain offerings with salt. You shall not let the salt of the covenant with your God be missing from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.
"'If you present a grain offering of first ripe grain to the LORD, you must present your grain offering of first ripe grain as soft kernels roasted in fire--crushed bits of fresh grain.14“If you offer a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, you shall offer for the grain offering of your firstfruits fresh ears, roasted with fire, crushed new grain.
And you must put olive oil on it and set frankincense on it--it is a grain offering.15And you shall put oil on it and lay frankincense on it; it is a grain offering.
Then the priest must offer its memorial portion up in smoke--some of its crushed bits, some of its olive oil, in addition to all of its frankincense--it is a gift to the LORD. 16And the priest shall burn as its memorial portion some of the crushed grain and some of the oil with all of its frankincense; it is a food offering to the LORD.
