NASB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]

Then these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.1So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
But the anger of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram burned; against Job his anger burned because he justified himself before God.2Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
And his anger burned against his three friends because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.3Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job because they were years older than he.4Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.
And when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of the three men his anger burned.5When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.
So Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite spoke out and said, "I am young in years and you are old; Therefore I was shy and afraid to tell you what I think.6And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
"I thought age should speak, And increased years should teach wisdom.7I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
"But it is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives them understanding.8But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
"The abundant in years may not be wise, Nor may elders understand justice.9Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
"So I say, 'Listen to me, I too will tell what I think.'10Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.
"Behold, I waited for your words, I listened to your reasonings, While you pondered what to say.11Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.
"I even paid close attention to you; Indeed, there was no one who refuted Job, Not one of you who answered his words.12Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:
"Do not say, 'We have found wisdom; God will rout him, not man.'13Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
"For he has not arranged his words against me, Nor will I reply to him with your arguments.14Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
"They are dismayed, they no longer answer; Words have failed them.15They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.
"Shall I wait, because they do not speak, Because they stop and no longer answer?16When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
"I too will answer my share, I also will tell my opinion.17I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.
"For I am full of words; The spirit within me constrains me.18For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.
"Behold, my belly is like unvented wine, Like new wineskins it is about to burst.19Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.
"Let me speak that I may get relief; Let me open my lips and answer.20I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
"Let me now be partial to no one, Nor flatter any man.21Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
"For I do not know how to flatter, Else my Maker would soon take me away.22For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
