My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my verses to the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer. | 1My heart is moved by a noble theme as I recite my verses to the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer. |
| 2You are fairer than the sons of men; Grace is poured upon Your lips; Therefore God has blessed You forever. | 2You are the most handsome of men; grace flows from your lips. Therefore God has blessed you forever. |
