1God, hear my cry; pay attention to my prayer.1לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ ׀ עַֽל־ נְגִינַ֬ת לְדָוִֽד׃ שִׁמְעָ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים רִנָּתִ֑י הַ֝קְשִׁ֗יבָה תְּפִלָּתִֽי׃
2From the end of the earth I will cry to you whenever my heart is overwhelmed. Place me on the rock that's too high for me.2מִקְצֵ֤ה הָאָ֨רֶץ ׀ אֵלֶ֣יךָ אֶ֭קְרָא בַּעֲטֹ֣ף לִבִּ֑י בְּצוּר־ יָר֖וּם מִמֶּ֣נִּי תַנְחֵֽנִי׃
3For you have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength before the enemy.3כִּֽי־ הָיִ֣יתָ מַחְסֶ֣ה לִ֑י מִגְדַּל־ עֹ֝֗ז מִפְּנֵ֥י אוֹיֵֽב׃
4Let me make my home in your tent forever; let me hide under the shelter of your wings. Interlude4אָג֣וּרָה בְ֭אָהָלְךָ עוֹלָמִ֑ים אֶֽחֱסֶ֨ה בְסֵ֖תֶר כְּנָפֶ֣יךָ סֶּֽלָה׃
5For you, God, have heard my promises; you have assigned to me the heritage of those who fear your name.5כִּֽי־ אַתָּ֣ה אֱ֭לֹהִים שָׁמַ֣עְתָּ לִנְדָרָ֑י נָתַ֥תָּ יְ֝רֻשַּׁ֗ת יִרְאֵ֥י שְׁמֶֽךָ׃
6Add day after day to the king's life; may his years continue for many generations.6יָמִ֣ים עַל־ יְמֵי־ מֶ֣לֶךְ תּוֹסִ֑יף שְׁ֝נוֹתָ֗יו כְּמוֹ־ דֹ֥ר וָדֹֽר׃
7May he be enthroned before God forever; Appoint your gracious love and truth to guard him.7יֵשֵׁ֣ב ע֭וֹלָם לִפְנֵ֣י אֱלֹהִ֑ים חֶ֥סֶד וֶ֝אֱמֶ֗ת מַ֣ן יִנְצְרֻֽהוּ׃
8So I will sing songs to your name forever; I will fulfill my promises day by day.8כֵּ֤ן אֲזַמְּרָ֣ה שִׁמְךָ֣ לָעַ֑ד לְֽשַׁלְּמִ֥י נְדָרַ֗י י֣וֹם ׀ יֽוֹם׃
