Psalm 110
ESV Parallel CSB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
English Standard VersionChristian Standard Bible
1The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”1This is the declaration of the LORD to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool."
2The LORD sends forth from Zion your mighty scepter. Rule in the midst of your enemies!2The LORD will extend your mighty scepter from Zion. Rule over your surrounding enemies.
3Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of your power, in holy garments; from the womb of the morning, the dew of your youth will be yours.3Your people will volunteer on your day of battle. In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, the dew of your youth belongs to you.
4The LORD has sworn and will not change his mind, “You are a priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.”4The LORD has sworn an oath and will not take it back: "You are a priest forever according to the pattern of Melchizedek."
5The Lord is at your right hand; he will shatter kings on the day of his wrath.5The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his anger.
6He will execute judgment among the nations, filling them with corpses; he will shatter chiefs over the wide earth.6He will judge the nations, heaping up corpses; he will crush leaders over the entire world.
7He will drink from the brook by the way; therefore he will lift up his head.7He will drink from the brook by the road; therefore, he will lift up his head.
