| 2Lord, listen to my voice; let your ears be attentive to my cry for help. | 2Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications. |
| 3LORD, if you kept an account of iniquities, Lord, who could stand? | 3If You, LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? |
| 4But with you there is forgiveness, so that you may be revered. | 4But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared. |
| 5I wait for the LORD; I wait and put my hope in his word. | 5I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, And in His word do I hope. |
