Psalm 131
CSB Parallel NASB [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleNew American Standard Bible 1995
1LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I do not get involved with things too great or too wondrous for me.1A Song of Ascents, of David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.
2Instead, I have calmed and quieted my soul like a weaned child with its mother; my soul is like a weaned child.2Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me.
3Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forever.3O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever.
