Psalm 131
CSB Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleNET Bible
1LORD, my heart is not proud; my eyes are not haughty. I do not get involved with things too great or too wondrous for me.1A song of ascents, by David. O LORD, my heart is not proud, nor do I have a haughty look. I do not have great aspirations, or concern myself with things that are beyond me.
2Instead, I have calmed and quieted my soul like a weaned child with its mother; my soul is like a weaned child.2Indeed I am composed and quiet, like a young child carried by its mother; I am content like the young child I carry.
3Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forever.3O Israel, hope in the LORD now and forevermore!
