Psalm 65
CSB Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleEnglish Standard Version
Praise is rightfully yours, God, in Zion; vows to you will be fulfilled.1Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall vows be performed.
All humanity will come to you, the one who hears prayer.2O you who hear prayer, to you shall all flesh come.
Iniquities overwhelm me; only you can atone for our rebellions.3When iniquities prevail against me, you atone for our transgressions.
How happy is the one you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We will be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple.4Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple!
You answer us in righteousness, with awe-inspiring works, God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the distant seas.5By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas;
You establish the mountains by your power; you are robed with strength.6the one who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with might;
You silence the roar of the seas, the roar of their waves, and the tumult of the nations.7who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples,
Those who live far away are awed by your signs; you make east and west shout for joy.8so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.
You visit the earth and water it abundantly, enriching it greatly. God's stream is filled with water, for you prepare the earth in this way, providing people with grain.9You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.
You soften it with showers and bless its growth, soaking its furrows and leveling its ridges.10You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth.
You crown the year with your goodness; your carts overflow with plenty.11You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.
The wilderness pastures overflow, and the hills are robed with joy.12The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy,
The pastures are clothed with flocks and the valleys covered with grain. They shout in triumph; indeed, they sing.13the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy.
