| 1[an error occurred while processing this directive] | 1After they passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a Jewish synagogue. |

Others replied, "He seems to be a preacher of foreign deities"--because he was telling the good news about Jesus and the resurrection. |
