Longing for Her Beloved

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
If only you were to me like a brother, who was nursed at my mother's breasts! Then, if I found you outside, I would kiss you, and no one would despise me.1Oh that you were like a brother to me who nursed at my mother’s breasts! If I found you outside, I would kiss you, and none would despise me.1"Oh that you were like a brother to me Who nursed at my mother's breasts. If I found you outdoors, I would kiss you; No one would despise me, either.1O that thou wert as my brother, that sucked the breasts of my mother! when I should find thee without, I would kiss thee; yea, I should not be despised.1 If only I could treat you like my brother, one who nursed at my mother's breasts, I would find you in public and kiss you, and no one would scorn me.
I would lead you and bring you to my mother's house-- she who has taught me. I would give you spiced wine to drink, the nectar of my pomegranates.2I would lead you and bring you into the house of my mother— she who used to teach me. I would give you spiced wine to drink, the juice of my pomegranate.2"I would lead you and bring you Into the house of my mother, who used to instruct me; I would give you spiced wine to drink from the juice of my pomegranates.2I would lead thee, and bring thee into my mother's house, who would instruct me: I would cause thee to drink of spiced wine of the juice of my pomegranate.2I would lead you, I would take you, to the house of my mother who taught me. I would give you spiced wine to drink from my pomegranate juice.
His left arm is under my head and his right arm embraces me.3His left hand is under my head, and his right hand embraces me!3"Let his left hand be under my head And his right hand embrace me."3His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.3His left hand is under my head, and his right arm embraces me.
Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.4I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that you not stir up or awaken love until it pleases.4"I want you to swear, O daughters of Jerusalem, Do not arouse or awaken my love Until she pleases."4I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, until he please.4Young women of Jerusalem, I charge you: do not stir up or awaken love until the appropriate time. 6Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame.6Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy is fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the LORD.6"Put me like a seal over your heart, Like a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death, Jealousy is as severe as Sheol; Its flashes are flashes of fire, The very flame of the LORD.6Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.6Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm. For love is as strong as death; ardent love is as unrelenting as Sheol. Love's flames are fiery flames-- the fiercest of all.
Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one's house for love, it would be utterly scorned.7Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, he would be utterly despised.7"Many waters cannot quench love, Nor will rivers overflow it; If a man were to give all the riches of his house for love, It would be utterly despised."7Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.7Mighty waters cannot extinguish love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If a man were to give all his wealth for love, it would be utterly scorned. B

We have a little sister, and her breasts are not yet grown. What shall we do for our sister on the day she is spoken for?8We have a little sister, and she has no breasts. What shall we do for our sister on the day when she is spoken for?8"We have a little sister, And she has no breasts; What shall we do for our sister On the day when she is spoken for?8We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?8Our sister is young; she has no breasts. What will we do for our sister on the day she is spoken for?
If she is a wall, we will build towers of silver on her. If she is a door, we will enclose her with panels of cedar.9If she is a wall, we will build on her a battlement of silver, but if she is a door, we will enclose her with boards of cedar.9"If she is a wall, We will build on her a battlement of silver; But if she is a door, We will barricade her with planks of cedar."9If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will inclose her with boards of cedar.9If she is a wall, we will build a silver parapet on it. If she is a door, we will enclose it with cedar planks. W

I am a wall, and my breasts are like towers. Thus I have become in his eyes like one bringing contentment.10I was a wall, and my breasts were like towers; then I was in his eyes as one who finds peace.10"I was a wall, and my breasts were like towers; Then I became in his eyes as one who finds peace.10I am a wall, and my breasts like towers: then was I in his eyes as one that found favour.10I am a wall and my breasts like towers. So in his eyes I have become like one who finds peace.
Solomon had a vineyard in Baal Hamon; he let out his vineyard to tenants. Each was to bring for its fruit a thousand shekels of silver.11Solomon had a vineyard at Baal-hamon; he let out the vineyard to keepers; each one was to bring for its fruit a thousand pieces of silver.11"Solomon had a vineyard at Baal-hamon; He entrusted the vineyard to caretakers. Each one was to bring a thousand shekels of silver for its fruit.11Solomon had a vineyard at Baalhamon; he let out the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver.11Solomon owned a vineyard in Baal-hamon. He leased the vineyard to tenants. Each was to bring for his fruit 1,000 pieces of silver.
But my own vineyard is mine to give; the thousand shekels are for you, Solomon, and two hundred are for those who tend its fruit.12My vineyard, my very own, is before me; you, O Solomon, may have the thousand, and the keepers of the fruit two hundred.12"My very own vineyard is at my disposal; The thousand shekels are for you, Solomon, And two hundred are for those who take care of its fruit."12My vineyard, which is mine, is before me: thou, O Solomon, must have a thousand, and those that keep the fruit thereof two hundred.12I have my own vineyard. The 1,000 are for you, Solomon, but 200 for those who guard its fruits. M

You who dwell in the gardens with friends in attendance, let me hear your voice!13O you who dwell in the gardens, with companions listening for your voice; let me hear it.13"O you who sit in the gardens, My companions are listening for your voice-- Let me hear it!"13Thou that dwellest in the gardens, the companions hearken to thy voice: cause me to hear it.13You who dwell in the gardens-- companions are listening for your voice-- let me hear you!
