For sin was in the world before the Law was given; but sin is not taken into account when there is no law.

Being justified by faith, we have peace with God;

and joy in our hope;

that since we were reconciled by his blood, when we were enemies;

we shall much more be saved, being reconciled.

As sin and death came by Adam;
