Good News Translation
Gideon went on to Penuel and made the same request of the people there, but the men of Penuel gave the same answer as the men of Sukkoth.

From there he went up to Penuel, and made the same request of them; and the people of Penuel answered him as the people of Succoth had answered.

After leaving Succoth, Gideon went to Penuel and asked the leaders there for some food. But he got the same answer as he did at Succoth.
