Anoint them just as you anointed their father, so they may serve me as priests. Their anointing will be to a priesthood that will continue throughout their generations."15and anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may serve me as priests. And their anointing shall admit them to a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations.”15and you shall anoint them even as you have anointed their father, that they may minister as priests to Me; and their anointing will qualify them for a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations."15And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.15Anoint them just as you anointed their father, so that they may also serve Me as priests. Their anointing will serve to inaugurate a permanent priesthood for them throughout their generations."
Moses did everything just as the LORD commanded him.16This Moses did; according to all that the LORD commanded him, so he did.16Thus Moses did; according to all that the LORD had commanded him, so he did.16Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.16Moses did everything just as the LORD had commanded him.
So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month in the second year.17In the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was erected.17Now in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was erected.17And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.17The tabernacle was set up in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month.
When Moses set up the tabernacle, he put the bases in place, erected the frames, inserted the crossbars and set up the posts.18Moses erected the tabernacle. He laid its bases, and set up its frames, and put in its poles, and raised up its pillars.18Moses erected the tabernacle and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and inserted its bars and erected its pillars.18And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.18Moses set up the tabernacle: he laid its bases, positioned its planks, inserted its crossbars, and set up its posts.
Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering over the tent, as the LORD commanded him.19And he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent over it, as the LORD had commanded Moses.19He spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent on top of it, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.19And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.19Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering of the tent on top of it, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.

He took the tablets of the covenant law and placed them in the ark, attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover over it.20He took the testimony and put it into the ark, and put the poles on the ark and set the mercy seat above on the ark.20Then he took the testimony and put it into the ark, and attached the poles to the ark, and put the mercy seat on top of the ark.20And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:20Moses took the testimony and placed it in the ark, and attached the poles to the ark. He set the mercy seat on top of the ark.
Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle and hung the shielding curtain and shielded the ark of the covenant law, as the LORD commanded him.21And he brought the ark into the tabernacle and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as the LORD had commanded Moses.21He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up a veil for the screen, and screened off the ark of the testimony, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.21And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.21He brought the ark into the tabernacle, put up the veil for the screen, and screened off the ark of the testimony, just as the LORD had commanded him.
Moses placed the table in the tent of meeting on the north side of the tabernacle outside the curtain22He put the table in the tent of meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil,22Then he put the table in the tent of meeting on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil.22And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.22Moses placed the table in the tent of meeting on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil.
and set out the bread on it before the LORD, as the LORD commanded him.23and arranged the bread on it before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.23He set the arrangement of bread in order on it before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.23And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.23He arranged the bread on it before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
He placed the lampstand in the tent of meeting opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle24He put the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle,24Then he placed the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of the tabernacle.24And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, over against the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.24He also put the lampstand in the tent of meeting opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle

and set up the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD commanded him.25and set up the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.25He lighted the lamps before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.25And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.25and set up the lamps before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
Moses placed the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the curtain26He put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil,26Then he placed the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the veil;26And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:26Moses also installed the gold altar in the tent of meeting, in front of the veil,
and burned fragrant incense on it, as the LORD commanded him.27and burned fragrant incense on it, as the LORD had commanded Moses.27and he burned fragrant incense on it, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.27And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.27and burned fragrant incense on it, just as the LORD had commanded him.
Then he put up the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.28He put in place the screen for the door of the tabernacle.28Then he set up the veil for the doorway of the tabernacle.28And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.28He put up the screen at the entrance to the tabernacle.
He set the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, and offered on it burnt offerings and grain offerings, as the LORD commanded him.29And he set the altar of burnt offering at the entrance of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, as the LORD had commanded Moses.29He set the altar of burnt offering before the doorway of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.29And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the meat offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.29Then he placed the altar of burnt offering at the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, and offered the burnt offering and the grain offering on it, just as the LORD had commanded him.
NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
He placed the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing,30He set the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing,30He placed the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing.30And he set the laver between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash withal.30He set the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing.
and Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet.31with which Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet.31From it Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet.31And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:31Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and feet from it.
They washed whenever they entered the tent of meeting or approached the altar, as the LORD commanded Moses.32When they went into the tent of meeting, and when they approached the altar, they washed, as the LORD commanded Moses.32When they entered the tent of meeting, and when they approached the altar, they washed, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.32When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.32They washed whenever they came to the tent of meeting and approached the altar, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work.33And he erected the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.33He erected the court all around the tabernacle and the altar, and hung up the veil for the gateway of the court. Thus Moses finished the work.33And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.33Next Moses set up the surrounding courtyard for the tabernacle and the altar and hung a screen for the gate of the courtyard. So Moses finished the work.

The Glory of the Lord

(Numbers 9:15-23)

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.34Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.34Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.34Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.34The cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.35And Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.35Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.35And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.35Moses was unable to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud rested on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out;36Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would set out.36Throughout all their journeys whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the sons of Israel would set out;36And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:36The Israelites set out whenever the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle throughout all the stages of their journey.
but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out--until the day it lifted.37But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out till the day that it was taken up.37but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not set out until the day when it was taken up.37But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.37If the cloud was not taken up, they did not set out until the day it was taken up.
So the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the Israelites during all their travels.38For the cloud of the LORD was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.38For throughout all their journeys, the cloud of the LORD was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel.38For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.38For the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and there was a fire inside the cloud by night, visible to the entire house of Israel throughout all the stages of their journey.
