Put on the New Self

NIVESVNASBKJVHCSB
Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.1If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.1Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.1If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.1So if you have been raised with the Messiah, seek what is above, where the Messiah is, seated at the right hand of God.
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.2Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.2Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.2Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.2Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth.
For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.3For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.3For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.3For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.3For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God.
When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.4When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.4When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.4When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.4When the Messiah, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.5Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.5Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry.5Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:5Therefore, put to death what belongs to your worldly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry.
Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.6On account of these the wrath of God is coming.6For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience,6For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:6Because of these, God's wrath comes on the disobedient,
You used to walk in these ways, in the life you once lived.7In these you too once walked, when you were living in them.7and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them.7In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.7and you once walked in these things when you were living in them.
But now you must also rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.8But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth.8But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth.8But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.8But now you must also put away all the following: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy language from your mouth.
Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices9Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices9Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices,9Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;9Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old self with its practices

and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.10and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.10and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him--10And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:10and have put on the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your Creator.
Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all.11Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.11a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.11Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.11In Christ there is not Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave and free; but Christ is all and in all.
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.12Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,12So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience;12Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;12Therefore, God's chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.13bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.13bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.13Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.13accepting one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive.
And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.14And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.14Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.14And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.14Above all, put on love--the perfect bond of unity.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.15And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.15And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.15And let the peace of the Messiah, to which you were also called in one body, control your hearts. Be thankful.
Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.16Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.16Let the message about the Messiah dwell richly among you, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in your hearts to God.
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.17And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.17Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.17And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.17And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
