The Bible addresses wealth and prosperity extensively, offering guidance on their acquisition, use, and spiritual implications. While wealth is often seen as a blessing from God, it also comes with responsibilities and potential spiritual pitfalls.

Old Testament Insights:
In the Old Testament, wealth is frequently portrayed as a sign of God's blessing and favor. For instance, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were all blessed with substantial wealth (Genesis 13:2; 26:12-14; 30:43). Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds the Israelites, "But remember that it is the LORD your God who gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm His covenant that He swore to your fathers, as it is today."

The wisdom literature, particularly Proverbs, offers numerous insights into wealth. Proverbs 10:22 states, "The blessing of the LORD enriches, and He adds no sorrow to it." However, Proverbs also warns against the dangers of wealth, such as in Proverbs 11:28: "He who trusts in his riches will fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf."

The New Testament continues to address wealth, often emphasizing the spiritual dangers associated with it. Jesus frequently taught about wealth, warning against its potential to lead one away from God. In Matthew 6:24, He states, "No one can serve two masters.
