In Deuteronomy 7:9, Moses declares, "Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His covenant of loving devotion for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments." Romans 3:25-26 explains, "God presented Him as the atoning sacrifice through faith in His blood, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had passed over the sins committed beforehand. He did this to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus." This passage reveals how God's justice is satisfied through the atoning work of Christ, allowing Him to be both just and the justifier of those who believe.
