Faithfulness of God

In the Old Testament, God's faithfulness is evident in His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, where He promises to make them a great nation and bless all the families of the earth through them (Genesis 12:2-3). The kindness of God is vividly portrayed in His dealings with Israel. Despite their rebellion, God shows mercy and compassion, as seen in Isaiah 54:10: "Though the mountains may be removed and the hills may be shaken, My loving devotion will not depart from you, and My covenant of peace will not be broken, says the LORD, who has compassion on you."

In the New Testament, God's kindness is exemplified in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Titus 3:4-5 states, "But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit." Here, God's kindness is linked to salvation, highlighting His initiative in reaching out to humanity.

The Apostle Paul also emphasizes God's kindness as a means of leading people to repentance.
