1. Pharaoh's Hardened Heart:
One of the most prominent examples of spiritual stubbornness is Pharaoh's refusal to release the Israelites from bondage, despite witnessing numerous signs and wonders performed by God through Moses. The Bible repeatedly states that Pharaoh's heart was hardened, leading to his downfall. "But Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he would not listen to them, just as the LORD had said" (Exodus 7:13).

2. Israel's Rebellion in the Wilderness:
