In Philippians 2:3-8 , the Apostle Paul exhorts believers to emulate Christ's humility: "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death—even death on a cross."

Jesus' life and sacrificial death serve as the ultimate model of humility, demonstrating that true greatness in the kingdom of God is found in servanthood and selflessness. This teaching is reinforced in Matthew 23:12 , where Jesus declares, "For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted."

Humility is also a prerequisite for receiving God's grace. James 4:6 affirms, "But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: 'God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'" God's Care

The care of God for His creation and His people is a central theme throughout the Bible, reflecting His nature as a loving and compassionate Father. God's care is manifested in His provision, protection, guidance, and intimate involvement in the lives of His children.

In the Old Testament, God's care is evident in His covenant relationship with Israel. Deuteronomy 7:9 declares, "Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps His covenant of loving devotion for a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments." The Psalms frequently celebrate God's care, portraying Him as a shepherd who tends to His flock. Psalm 23:1-4 beautifully illustrates this imagery: "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. In Matthew 6:26 , Jesus teaches, "Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns—and yet your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?"
