Proverbs frequently extols the value of diligence. Proverbs 10:4 states, "Idle hands make one poor, but diligent hands bring wealth." This verse highlights the practical benefits of diligence, suggesting that it leads to prosperity and success. Similarly, Proverbs 12:24 declares, "The hand of the diligent will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor." Joshua 24:15 famously declares, "But if it is unpleasing in your sight to serve the LORD, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve."
