Job’s testing demonstrated that even severe affliction has limits set by God. Believers may feel weak, weary, and deeply pressed, yet no temptation can compel them to sin. God knows the frame of His children and provides sufficient grace for faithful resistance. Jesus Himself was tempted in the wilderness, yet He remained without sin and now sympathizes with those who are tested.
