Nehemiah 11:20-36 ▼

20 And the rest of Israel, the priests and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, each man in his inheritance.

21 And the Nethinim dwelt in Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa were over the Nethinim.

22 And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem was Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Mica—from the sons of Asaph, the singers who were over the work of the house of God.

23 For the commandment of the king was upon them, and a fixed portion for those singing, was a matter of a day in its day.

24 And Pethahiah son of Meshezabel, from the sons of Zerah son of Judah, was at the hand of the king for every matter for the people.

25 And for the villages with their fields, some from the sons of Judah dwelt in Kiriath-arba and its villages, and in Dibon and its villages, and in Jekabzeel and its villages.

26 And in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-pelet,

27 and in Hazar-shual, and in Beersheba and its villages.

28 And in Ziklag, and in Mekonah and in its villages.

29 And in En-rimmon, and in Zorah, and in Jarmuth,

30 Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, in Lachish and its fields, and in Azekah and its villages. And they dwelt from Beersheba to the Valley of Hinnom.

31 And the sons of Benjamin from Geba, Michmash, and Aija, and Bethel and its villages,

32 Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,

33 Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,

34 Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,

35 Lod, and Ono, and in Ge-harashim.

36 And some from the Levites, divisions in Judah, were assigned to Benjamin.
