And when they draw near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, toward the Mount of Olives, He sends two of His disciples,

and He says to them, “Go into the village ahead of you?, and immediately entering into it you? will find a colt tied, on which no one of men yet sat. Having loosed it, also bring it.

And if anyone should say to you?, ‘Why are you? doing this?’ say, ‘Because the Lord has need of it, and immediately He sends it again here.’”

And they went away and found a colt tied at the door outside on the street, and they loose it.

And some of those standing there were saying to them, “What are you? doing, loosing the colt?”

And they said to them just as Jesus said, and they allowed them.

And they bring the colt to Jesus, and they cast on it their garments, and He sat on it.

And many spread their garments in the road, and others, branches having been cut from the fields.

And those going before and those following were crying out: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is the One coming in the name of the Lord!”

“Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!” “Hosanna in the highest!”
