45 And Jesus said, "Who is it that touched Me?" And, when all were denying, Peter said, "Master, the multitudes are thronging Thee, and hard pressing Thee!" 46 But Jesus said, "Some one touched Me; for I perceived that power had gone out from Me." 47 And the woman, seeing that she was not concealed, came trembling; and, falling down before Him, reported before all the people for what cause she touched Him, and how she was instantly healed. 48 And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace." 49 While He is yet speaking, there comes one from the ruler of the synagogue, saying, "Your daughter has died; trouble not the Teacher." 50 But Jesus, hearing it , answered him, "Fear not; only believe; and she shall be made whole!" 51 And, coming into the house, He permitted no one to enter with Him, except Peter, and James, and John, and the father of the maiden, and her mother. 52 And they were all weeping, and bewailing her; but He said, "Weep not; for she did not die, but is sleeping." 53 And they were deriding Him, knowing that she died. 54 But He, taking her by the hand, called, saying, "Maiden, arise." 55 And her spirit returned to her, and she rose up instantly; and He commanded that something should be given to her to eat. 56 And her parents were astonished. But He charged them to tell no one what had taken place. Luke 8:45-56, Worrell New Testament. Public domain.
