7 The day of unleaven'd bread being come, when the paschal-lamb was to be sacrific'd,

8 Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, go, and make provision for our eating the paschal-lamb.

9 they ask'd him, where would you have us prepare it?

10 he answered, when you are in the city, you will meet a man with a pitcher of water; follow him to the house, where he goes in:

11 and say to the man of the house, our master sent to ask for a room, where he may eat the passover with his disciples.

12 and he will show you a large upper room ready fitted: there prepare the supper.

13 so they went, and having found every thing as Jesus had said, they made ready the passover.

14 The hour of eating being come, he, and the twelve apostles sat down to table.

15 and he said to them, I have ardently desired to eat this passover with you, before I suffer.

16 for I declare unto you, I shall not celebrate this passover with you any more, to the time, when it shall have its accomplishment in the kingdom of the messiah.
