Exodus 9:1-6 ▼

1 And YHWH said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and speak to him: Thus says YHWH God of the Hebrews, ‘Send out, My people that they may serve Me.

2 For if you refuse to send them out, and you are still holding on to them,

3 behold, the hand of YHWH will be on your livestock that are in the field—on the horses, on the donkeys, on the camels, on the cattle, and on the flocks—a very severe pestilence.

4 And YHWH will make a distinction between the livestock of Israel and between the livestock of Egypt, and not a thing shall die from all that belongs to the sons of Israel.’”

5 And YHWH set an appointed time, saying, “Tomorrow YHWH will do this thing in the land.”

6 And YHWH did this thing on the next day, and all the livestock of Egypt died. And from the livestock of the sons of Israel, not one died.
