1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 through whom we have gained access [by faith] to this grace in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God. 4 and endurance, proven character, and proven character, hope, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, perseverance, character; and character, hope.

7 Indeed, only with difficulty does one die for a just person, though perhaps for a good person one might even find courage to die. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die.
8 But God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us. but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 How much more then, since we are now justified by his blood, will we be saved through him from the wrath. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!
10 Indeed, if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, once reconciled, will we be saved by his life. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
11 Not only that, but we also boast of God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
12 Therefore, just as through one person sin entered the world, and through sin, death, and thus death came to all, inasmuch as all sinned — Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned— Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
13 for up to the time of the law, sin was in the world, though sin is not accounted when there is no law. for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law. To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law.
14 But death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin after the pattern of the trespass of Adam, who is the type of the one who was to come. Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come. Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who is a pattern of the one to come.
15 But the gift is not like the transgression. For if by that one person’s transgression the many died, how much more did the grace of God and the gracious gift of the one person Jesus Christ overflow for the many. But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many. But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
16 And the gift is not like the result of the one person’s sinning. For after one sin there was the judgment that brought condemnation; but the gift, after many transgressions, brought acquittal. And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification. Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.
17 For if, by the transgression of one person, death came to reign through that one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of justification come to reign in life through the one person Jesus Christ. For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
18 In conclusion, just as through one transgression condemnation came upon all, so through one righteous act acquittal and life came to all. Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.
19 For just as through the disobedience of one person the many were made sinners, so through the obedience of one the many will be made righteous. For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous. For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
20 The law entered in so that transgression might increase but, where sin increased, grace overflowed all the more, Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,
21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through justification for eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
