1 After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying: “Hallelujah! The salvation and the glory and the power of our God! After this I heard what seemed to be the loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, crying out, “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, After this I heard what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting: “Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God,
2 For true and righteous are His judgments, because He judged the great prostitute who was corrupting the earth in her sexual immorality, and He avenged the blood of His servants, out of her hand.” for his judgments are true and just; for he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality, and has avenged on her the blood of his servants.” for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants.”
3 And a second time they said: “Hallelujah! And her smoke goes up to the ages of the ages.” Once more they cried out, “Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up forever and ever.” And again they shouted: “Hallelujah! The smoke from her goes up for ever and ever.”
4 And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, the One sitting on the throne, saying: “Amen, Hallelujah!” And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who was seated on the throne, saying, “Amen. 5 And a voice came out from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you His servants, and those fearing Him, the small and the great!” And from the throne came a voice saying, “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, small and great.” Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, both great and small!”
6 And I heard something like a voice of a great multitude, and as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of strong thunders, saying: “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, has reigned. Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns. Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns.
7 We should rejoice and should exult and we will give to Him the glory, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has prepared herself. Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his Bride has made herself ready; Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.
8 And it was given to her that she should be clothed in fine linen, bright and pure.” For the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. it was granted her to clothe herself with fine linen, bright and pure”— for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.” (Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of God’s holy people.)
9 And he says to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are those having been called to the supper of the marriage of the Lamb.’” And he says to me, “These are the true words of God.” And the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.” Then the angel said to me, “Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.”
10 And I fell before his feet to worship him. And he says to me, “See, no! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers, those having the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, “You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God.” For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers and sisters who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For it is the Spirit of prophecy who bears testimony to Jesus.”
11 And I saw heaven having been opened, and behold, a white horse, and the One sitting upon it called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.
12 Now His eyes are like a flame of fire, and upon His head many diadems, having a name written, which no one knows except He Himself, His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems, and he has a name written that no one knows but himself. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.
13 and clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of God. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
14 And the armies who were in heaven were following Him upon white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and pure. And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations; and He will shepherd them with a rod of iron. And He treads the press of the wine of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
16 And He has a name written upon the robe and upon His thigh: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. On his robe and on his thigh he has a name written, King of kings and Lord of lords. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.
17 And I saw one angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice, saying to all the birds flying in mid-heaven, “Come, gather yourselves together unto the great supper of God, Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly directly overhead, “Come, gather for the great supper of God, And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,
18 so that you⁺ may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of commanders, and the flesh of strong men, and the flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all, both free and slaves and small and great.” to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great.” so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and the mighty, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, great and small.”
19 And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies having been gathered together to make war with the One sitting on the horse and with His army. And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who was sitting on the horse and against his army. Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army.
20 And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet, the one having done the signs before him, by which he deceived those having received the mark of the beast and those worshiping its image. The two were cast living into the lake of fire burning with sulfur. And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had done the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur. But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
21 And the rest were killed with the sword of the One sitting on the horse, having gone forth out of His mouth. And all the birds were filled with their flesh. And the rest were slain by the sword that came from the mouth of him who was sitting on the horse, and all the birds were gorged with their flesh. The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
