1 For the choir director. A song. A psalm. Let the whole earth shout joyfully to God! Shout for joy to God, all the earth; For the director of music. A song. A psalm. Shout for joy to God, all the earth!
2 Sing about the glory of his name; make his praise glorious. sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious.
3 Say to God, “How awe-inspiring are your works! Your enemies will cringe before you because of your great strength. Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies come cringing to you. Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you.
4 The whole earth will worship you and sing praise to you. They will sing praise to your name.” Selah All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name.” Selah All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you, they sing the praises of your name.”
5 Come and see the wonders of God; his acts for humanity are awe-inspiring. Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man. Come and see what God has done, his awesome deeds for mankind!
6 He turned the sea into dry land, and they crossed the river on foot. There we rejoiced in him. He turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in him, He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot— come, let us rejoice in him.
7 He rules forever by his might; he keeps his eye on the nations. The rebellious should not exalt themselves. Selah who rules by his might forever, whose eyes keep watch on the nations— let not the rebellious exalt themselves. 9 He keeps us alive and does not allow our feet to slip. who has kept our soul among the living and has not let our feet slip. he has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping.
10 For you, God, tested us; you refined us as silver is refined. For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried. For you, God, tested us; you refined us like silver.
11 You lured us into a trap; you placed burdens on our backs. You brought us into the net; you laid a crushing burden on our backs; You brought us into prison and laid burdens on our backs.
12 You let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and water, but you brought us out to abundance. you let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet you have brought us out to a place of abundance. 13 I will enter your house with burnt offerings; I will pay you my vows I will come into your house with burnt offerings; I will perform my vows to you, I will come to your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill my vows to you—

15 I will offer you fattened sheep as burnt offerings, with the fragrant smoke of rams; I will sacrifice bulls with goats. Selah I will offer to you burnt offerings of fattened animals, with the smoke of the sacrifice of rams; I will make an offering of bulls and goats. 16 Come and listen, all who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for me. Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul. Come and hear, all you who fear God; let me tell you what he has done for me.
17 I cried out to him with my mouth, and praise was on my tongue. I cried to him with my mouth, and high praise was on my tongue. I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.
18 If I had been aware of malice in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened;
19 However, God has listened; he has paid attention to the sound of my prayer. But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. but God has surely listened and has heard my prayer.
20 Blessed be God! He has not turned away my prayer or turned his faithful love from me. Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me! Praise be to God, who has not rejected my prayer or withheld his love from me!
