PRAISE is befitting thee, O God, in Zion; and unto thee shall the vow be performed; Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion, and to you shall vows be performed. For the director of music. A psalm of David. A song. Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion; to you our vows will be fulfilled.
O hear my prayer; unto thee shall all flesh come. O you who hear prayer, to you shall all flesh come. You who answer prayer, to you all people will come.
The words of the wicked have prevailed against me; as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them. When iniquities prevail against me, you atone for our transgressions. When we were overwhelmed by sins, you forgave our transgressions.
Blessed is the man in whom thou art pleased, he whom thou causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts and be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple. Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, to dwell in your courts! We shall be satisfied with the goodness of your house, the holiness of your temple! Blessed are those you choose and bring near to live in your courts! We are filled with the good things of your house, of your holy temple.
From the majesty of thy righteousness answer us, O God of our salvation, who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the peoples who are afar off, By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas; You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds, God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas,
Who settest fast the mountains by his strength, and is mighty in his power; the one who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with might; who formed the mountains by your power, having armed yourself with strength,
He stills the tempest of the seas and the roar of their waves. The peoples shall be troubled. who stills the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples, who stilled the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, and the turmoil of the nations.
The inhabitants of the earth shall tremble at thy wonders, from the coming of the morning to the evening. so that those who dwell at the ends of the earth are in awe at your signs. You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy. The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders; where morning dawns, where evening fades, you call forth songs of joy.
With glory didst thou visit the earth and water it; thou hast blessed it with peace and hast greatly enriched it with the river of God, which is full of water; thou hast prepared food when thou hast established it. You visit the earth and water it; you greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it. You care for the land and water it; you enrich it abundantly. The streams of God are filled with water to provide the people with grain, for so you have ordained it.
Thou hast watered the fallowed ground thereof; to bring forth fruits, thou hast sprinkled its growth with showers and blessed it. You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth. You drench its furrows and level its ridges; you soften it with showers and bless its crops.
Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and the calves have rich pasture. You crown the year with your bounty; your wagon tracks overflow with abundance. You crown the year with your bounty, and your carts overflow with abundance.
They shall be filled with the pastures of the wilderness, and the hills shall be surrounded with glory. The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy, The grasslands of the wilderness overflow; the hills are clothed with gladness.
The pastures shall be covered with fattening sheep, the valleys shall be clothed with wheat; they shall rejoice, yea, they shall sing. the meadows clothe themselves with flocks, the valleys deck themselves with grain, they shout and sing together for joy. The meadows are covered with flocks and the valleys are mantled with grain; they shout for joy and sing.
