1 A Song. A Psalm by the sons of Korah. Great is Yahweh, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain. Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised in the city of our God! His holy mountain, A song. A psalm of the Sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and most worthy of praise, in the city of our God, his holy mountain.
2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the north sides, the city of the great King. beautiful in elevation, is the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King. Beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth, like the heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion, the city of the Great King.
3 God has shown himself in her citadels as a refuge. Within her citadels God has made himself known as a fortress. God is in her citadels; he has shown himself to be her fortress.
4 For, behold, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together. For behold, the kings assembled; they came on together. When the kings joined forces, when they advanced together,
5 They saw it, then they were amazed. They were dismayed. They hurried away. As soon as they saw it, they were astounded; they were in panic; they took to flight. they saw her and were astounded; they fled in terror.

8 As we have heard, so we have seen, in the city of Yahweh of Armies, in the city of our God. God will establish it forever. Selah. 9 We have thought about your loving kindness, God, in the middle of your temple. We have thought on your steadfast love, O God, in the midst of your temple. Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love.
10 As is your name, God, so is your praise to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is full of righteousness. As your name, O God, so your praise reaches to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is filled with righteousness. Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand is filled with righteousness.
11 Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments. Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments! Mount Zion rejoices, the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments.
12 Walk about Zion, and go around her. Number its towers. Walk about Zion, go around her, number her towers, Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers,
