1 A Song; a Psalm of the sons of Korah. Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain. Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised in the city of our God! 2 Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. beautiful in elevation, is the joy of all the earth, Mount Zion, in the far north, the city of the great King. Beautiful in its loftiness, the joy of the whole earth, like the heights of Zaphon is Mount Zion, the city of the Great King.
3 God hath made himself known in her palaces for a refuge. Within her citadels God has made himself known as a fortress. God is in her citadels; he has shown himself to be her fortress.
4 For, lo, the kings assembled themselves, they passed by together. For behold, the kings assembled; they came on together. When the kings joined forces, when they advanced together,
5 They saw it, then were they amazed; they were dismayed, they hasted away. As soon as they saw it, they were astounded; they were in panic; they took to flight. they saw her and were astounded; they fled in terror.

9 We have thought on thy lovingkindness, O God, in the midst of thy temple. We have thought on your steadfast love, O God, in the midst of your temple. Within your temple, O God, we meditate on your unfailing love.
10 As is thy name, O God, so is thy praise unto the ends of the earth: thy right hand is full of righteousness. As your name, O God, so your praise reaches to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is filled with righteousness. Like your name, O God, your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your right hand is filled with righteousness.
11 Let mount Zion be glad, let the daughters of Judah rejoice, because of thy judgments. Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments! Mount Zion rejoices, the villages of Judah are glad because of your judgments.
12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof. Walk about Zion, go around her, number her towers, Walk about Zion, go around her, count her towers,
13 Mark ye welt her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following. consider well her ramparts, go through her citadels, that you may tell the next generation consider well her ramparts, view her citadels, that you may tell of them to the next generation.
