לְדָוִ֡ד אֵ֘לֶ֤יךָ יְהוָ֨ה ׀ אֶקְרָ֗א צוּרִי֮ אַֽל־ תֶּחֱרַ֪שׁ מִ֫מֶּ֥נִּי פֶּן־ תֶּֽחֱשֶׁ֥ה מִמֶּ֑נִּי וְ֝נִמְשַׁ֗לְתִּי עִם־ י֥וֹרְדֵי בֽוֹר׃ | To you, O LORD, I call; my rock, be not deaf to me, lest, if you be silent to me, I become like those who go down to the pit. | Of David. To you, LORD, I call; you are my Rock, do not turn a deaf ear to me. For if you remain silent, I will be like those who go down to the pit. |
שְׁמַ֤ע ק֣וֹל תַּ֭חֲנוּנַי בְּשַׁוְּעִ֣י אֵלֶ֑יךָ בְּנָשְׂאִ֥י יָ֝דַ֗י אֶל־ דְּבִ֥יר קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃ | Hear the voice of my pleas for mercy, when I cry to you for help, when I lift up my hands toward your most holy sanctuary. | Hear my cry for mercy as I call to you for help, as I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place. |
אַל־ תִּמְשְׁכֵ֣נִי עִם־ רְשָׁעִים֮ וְעִם־ פֹּ֪עֲלֵ֫י אָ֥וֶן דֹּבְרֵ֣י שָׁ֭לוֹם עִם־ רֵֽעֵיהֶ֑ם וְ֝רָעָ֗ה בִּלְבָבָֽם׃ | Do not drag me off with the wicked, with the workers of evil, who speak peace with their neighbors while evil is in their hearts. | Do not drag me away with the wicked, with those who do evil, who speak cordially with their neighbors but harbor malice in their hearts. |
תֶּן־ לָהֶ֣ם כְּפָעֳלָם֮ וּכְרֹ֪עַ מַֽעַלְלֵ֫יהֶ֥ם כְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יְ֭דֵיהֶם תֵּ֣ן לָהֶ֑ם הָשֵׁ֖ב גְּמוּלָ֣ם לָהֶֽם׃ | Give to them according to their work and according to the evil of their deeds; give to them according to the work of their hands; render them their due reward. | Repay them for their deeds and for their evil work; repay them for what their hands have done and bring back on them what they deserve. |
כִּ֤י לֹ֤א יָבִ֡ינוּ אֶל־ פְּעֻלֹּ֣ת יְ֭הוָה וְאֶל־ מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יָדָ֑יו יֶ֝הֶרְסֵ֗ם וְלֹ֣א יִבְנֵֽם׃ | Because they do not regard the works of the LORD or the work of his hands, he will tear them down and build them up no more. | Because they have no regard for the deeds of the LORD and what his hands have done, he will tear them down and never build them up again. |
בָּר֥וּךְ יְהוָ֑ה כִּי־ שָׁ֝מַע ק֣וֹל תַּחֲנוּנָֽי׃ | Blessed be the LORD! For he has heard the voice of my pleas for mercy. | Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy. |
יְהוָ֤ה ׀ עֻזִּ֥י וּמָגִנִּי֮ בּ֤וֹ בָטַ֥ח לִבִּ֗י וְֽנֶ֫עֱזָ֥רְתִּי וַיַּעֲלֹ֥ז לִבִּ֑י וּֽמִשִּׁירִ֥י אֲהוֹדֶֽנּוּ׃ | The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. | The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. |
יְהוָ֥ה עֹֽז־ לָ֑מוֹ וּמָ֘ע֤וֹז יְשׁוּע֖וֹת מְשִׁיח֣וֹ הֽוּא׃ | The LORD is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of his anointed. | The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one. |
הוֹשִׁ֤יעָה ׀ אֶת־ עַמֶּ֗ךָ וּבָרֵ֥ךְ אֶת־ נַחֲלָתֶ֑ךָ וּֽרְעֵ֥ם וְ֝נַשְּׂאֵ֗ם עַד־ הָעוֹלָֽם׃ | Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever. | Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever. |
