6 and saith unto him, If thou art the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: And on their hands they shall bear thee up, Lest haply thou dash thy foot against a stone. and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, “‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and “‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.’” “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written: “’He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”
7 Jesus said unto him, Again it is written, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Jesus said to him, “Again it is written, ‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.’” Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”
8 Again, the devil taketh him unto an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’” Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”
11 Then the devil leaveth him; and behold, angels came and ministered unto him. Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him. Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.
12 Now when he heard that John was delivered up, he withdrew into Galilee; Now when he heard that John had been arrested, he withdrew into Galilee. When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he withdrew to Galilee.

18 And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brethren, Simon who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishers. 21 And going on from thence he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them. News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.
25 And there followed him great multitudes from Galilee and Decapolis and Jerusalem and Judaea and from beyond Jordan. And great crowds followed him from Galilee and the Decapolis, and from Jerusalem and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan. Large crowds from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea and the region across the Jordan followed him.
