1 And late on the Sabbath-day, on the dawn toward the first of the Sabbaths, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the sepulcher. Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb. After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel descending from heaven, having come rolled away the stone from the door, and sat upon it. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.
3 And his countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.
4 And from fear of him the keepers did quake, and they became like dead men. And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5 And the angel responding, said to the women, Be ye not afraid: for I know that you are seeking Jesus, who has been crucified. But the angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.
6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.
7 And going quickly, tell His disciples, that He is risen from the dead; and behold, He goes before you into Galilee; and there you shall see Him; lo, I have told you. Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.” Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
8 And having come out quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy, they were running to tell His disciples. So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.
9 And behold, Jesus met them, saying, Hail. And they having come forward, took hold of His feet, and worshiped Him. And behold, Jesus met them and said, “Greetings!” And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.
10 Then Jesus says to them, Fear not: go tell my brethren, that they may depart into Galilee, and there they shall see me. Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.” Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.”
11 And they going, behold, certain ones of the watch having come into the city, proclaimed to the chief priests all things which had taken place. While they were going, behold, some of the guard went into the city and told the chief priests all that had taken place. While the women were on their way, some of the guards went into the city and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened.
12 And being assembled along with the elders, and taking counsel, they gave much money to the soldiers, And when they had assembled with the elders and taken counsel, they gave a sufficient sum of money to the soldiers When the chief priests had met with the elders and devised a plan, they gave the soldiers a large sum of money,
13 saying, You tell, that His disciples, having come by night, stole Him away while we slept. and said, “Tell people, ‘His disciples came by night and stole him away while we were asleep.’ telling them, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came during the night and stole him away while we were asleep.’
14 And if this may be heard by the governor, we will persuade him and make you secure. And if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.” If this report gets to the governor, we will satisfy him and keep you out of trouble.”
15 And they having received the money, did as they were instructed: and this report is current among the Jews until this day. So they took the money and did as they were directed. And this story has been spread among the Jews to this day. So the soldiers took the money and did as they were instructed. And this story has been widely circulated among the Jews to this very day.
16 And the eleven disciples went away into Galilee into the mountain where Jesus commanded them: Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
17 and seeing Him, they worshiped Him: but some doubted. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
18 And Jesus having come spoke to them, saying, All authority is given unto me in heaven and upon earth. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

20 teaching them to observe all things which I commanded you. And lo, I am with you all the days, unto the end of the age. teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
