| 23 | καὶ παρακαλεῖ αὐτὸν πολλὰ λέγων ὅτι Τὸ θυγάτριόν μου ἐσχάτως ἔχει ἵνα ἐλθὼν ἐπιθῇς τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῇ ἵνα σωθῇ καὶ ζήσῃ | and implored him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well and live.” | He pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.” | |
| 24 | Καὶ ἀπῆλθεν μετ’ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἠκολούθει αὐτῷ ὄχλος πολύς καὶ συνέθλιβον αὐτόν | And he went with him. And a great crowd followed him and thronged about him. | So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around him. | |
