1 And the Sabbath having past, Mary the Magdalene, and Mary of James, and Salome, bought spices, that having come, they may anoint Him, When the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him. When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body.
2 and early in the morning of the first [day] of the weeks, they come to the tomb, at the rising of the sun, And very early on the first day of the week, when the sun had risen, they went to the tomb. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb
3 and they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone out of the door of the tomb for us?” And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”
4 And having looked, they see that the stone has been rolled away—for it was very great, And looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled back—it was very large. But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away.
5 and having entered into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right hand, clothed in a long white robe, and they were amazed. And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they were alarmed. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
6 And he says to them, “Do not be amazed, you seek Jesus the Nazarene, the crucified [One]: He rose—He is not here; behold the place where they laid Him! And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him. “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.
7 And go, say to His disciples and Peter that He goes before you to Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.” But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.” But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’”
8 And having come forth quickly, they fled from the tomb, and trembling and amazement had seized them, and they said to no one anything, for they were afraid. [[ And they went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had seized them, and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid. Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid.
9 And He, having risen in the morning of the first of the week, appeared first to Mary the Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons; [[Now when he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons. When Jesus rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had driven seven demons.
10 she having gone, told those who had been with Him, mourning and weeping; She went and told those who had been with him, as they mourned and wept. She went and told those who had been with him and who were mourning and weeping.
11 and they, having heard that He is alive, and was seen by her, did not believe. But when they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they would not believe it. When they heard that Jesus was alive and that she had seen him, they did not believe it.
12 And after these things, to two of them, as they are going into a field, walking, He appeared in another form, After these things he appeared in another form to two of them, as they were walking into the country. Afterward Jesus appeared in a different form to two of them while they were walking in the country.
13 and they having gone, told [it] to the rest; not even them did they believe. And they went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them. These returned and reported it to the rest; but they did not believe them either.
14 Afterward, as they are reclining, He appeared to the Eleven, and reproached their unbelief and stiffness of heart, because they did not believe those having seen Him being raised; Afterward he appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who saw him after he had risen. Later Jesus appeared to the Eleven as they were eating; he rebuked them for their lack of faith and their stubborn refusal to believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
15 and He said to them, “Having gone into all the world, proclaim the good news to all the creation; And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
16 he who has believed and has been immersed will be saved; and he who has not believed will be condemned. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
17 And signs will accompany those believing these things: they will cast out demons in My Name; they will speak with new tongues; And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues; And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
18 they will take up serpents; and if they may drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the ailing, and they will be well.” they will pick up serpents with their hands; and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.” they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
19 The LORD, then, indeed, after speaking to them, was received up to Heaven, and sat on the right hand of God; So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God.
20 and they, having gone forth, preached everywhere, the LORD working with [them], and confirming the word, through the signs following. Amen.]] And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by accompanying signs.]] Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.
