And having looked up, He saw the ones casting their gifts into the treasury—the rich. Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.
And He saw a certain poor widow casting there two lepta. and he saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins. He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.
“And He said, “Truly I say to you⁺ that this poor widow cast in more than all. And he said, “Truly, I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others.
For these all cast in the gifts out of that which is abounding to them, but she out of her lack cast in all the livelihood that she had.” For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.” All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
And some speaking about the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones and consecrated gifts, He said, And while some were speaking of the temple, how it was adorned with noble stones and offerings, he said, Some of his disciples were remarking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and with gifts dedicated to God. But Jesus said,
“These things that you⁺ are beholding, the days will come in which not a stone will be left upon a stone that will not be thrown down.” “As for these things that you see, the days will come when there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” “As for what you see here, the time will come when not one stone will be left on another; every one of them will be thrown down.”
