1 And when a soul brings near a grain offering, an offering to YHWH, his offering shall be of fine flour. And he shall pour oil on it, and he shall put frankincense on it. “When anyone brings a grain offering as an offering to the LORD, his offering shall be of fine flour. He shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it “’When anyone brings a grain offering to the LORD, their offering is to be of the finest flour. They are to pour olive oil on it, put incense on it
2 And he shall bring it to the sons of Aaron, the priests, and he shall take from it the fullness of his handful of fine flour and oil with all its frankincense, and the priest shall burn it, its memorial portion, on the altar, a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to YHWH. and bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. And he shall take from it a handful of the fine flour and oil, with all of its frankincense, and the priest shall burn this as its memorial portion on the altar, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD. and take it to Aaron’s sons the priests. The priest shall take a handful of the flour and oil, together with all the incense, and burn this as a memorial portion on the altar, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
3 And the remainder of the grain offering is for Aaron and for his sons; it is holy of holies from the fire offerings to YHWH. But the rest of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the LORD’s food offerings. The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the food offerings presented to the LORD.
4 And if you bring near an offering of a grain offering baked in an oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with the oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with the oil. “When you bring a grain offering baked in the oven as an offering, it shall be unleavened loaves of fine flour mixed with oil or unleavened wafers smeared with oil. “’If you bring a grain offering baked in an oven, it is to consist of the finest flour: either thick loaves made without yeast and with olive oil mixed in or thin loaves made without yeast and brushed with olive oil.
5 And if your offering is a grain offering on the griddle, it shall be of fine flour mixed with the oil, unleavened. And if your offering is a grain offering baked on a griddle, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mixed with oil. If your grain offering is prepared on a griddle, it is to be made of the finest flour mixed with oil, and without yeast.
6 You shall break it in pieces, and you shall pour oil on it; it is a grain offering. You shall break it in pieces and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering. Crumble it and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering.
7 And if your offering is a grain offering in a covered pan, it shall be made of fine flour with the oil. And if your offering is a grain offering cooked in a pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil. If your grain offering is cooked in a pan, it is to be made of the finest flour and some olive oil.
8 And you shall bring near the grain offering that is made from these things to YHWH, and he shall bring it near to the priest, and he shall bring it to the altar. And you shall bring the grain offering that is made of these things to the LORD, and when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar. Bring the grain offering made of these things to the LORD; present it to the priest, who shall take it to the altar.
9 And the priest shall lift up from the grain offering its memorial portion, and he shall burn it on the altar. It is a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to YHWH. And the priest shall take from the grain offering its memorial portion and burn this on the altar, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the LORD. He shall take out the memorial portion from the grain offering and burn it on the altar as a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.
10 And what is left from the grain offering is for Aaron and for his sons. It is holy of holies from the fire offerings to YHWH. But the rest of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the LORD’s food offerings. The rest of the grain offering belongs to Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the food offerings presented to the LORD.
11 Any grain offering that you⁺ bring near to YHWH shall not be made leavened, for any leaven, and any honey, you⁺ shall not burn from it a fire offering to the LORD. “No grain offering that you bring to the LORD shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey as a food offering to the LORD. “’Every grain offering you bring to the LORD must be made without yeast, for you are not to burn any yeast or honey in a food offering presented to the LORD.
12 An offering of firstfruits you⁺ shall bring them near to YHWH; and they shall not go up on the altar for a pleasing aroma. As an offering of firstfruits you may bring them to the LORD, but they shall not be offered on the altar for a pleasing aroma. You may bring them to the LORD as an offering of the firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma.
13 And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with the salt. And the salt of the covenant of your God you shall not allow to cease from on your grain offering; on all your offerings you shall bring near salt. You shall season all your grain offerings with salt. You shall not let the salt of the covenant with your God be missing from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt. Season all your grain offerings with salt. Do not leave the salt of the covenant of your God out of your grain offerings; add salt to all your offerings.
14 And if you bring near a grain offering of firstfruits to YHWH, you shall bring near heads of new grain roasted on the fire, crushed grain from full heads for a grain offering of your firstfruits. “If you offer a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, you shall offer for the grain offering of your firstfruits fresh ears, roasted with fire, crushed new grain. “’If you bring a grain offering of firstfruits to the LORD, offer crushed heads of new grain roasted in the fire.
15 And you shall put oil on it, and you shall lay frankincense on it; it is a grain offering. And you shall put oil on it and lay frankincense on it; it is a grain offering. Put oil and incense on it; it is a grain offering.
16 And the priest shall burn its memorial portion from its crushed grain and from its oil with all its frankincense, as a fire offering to YHWH. And the priest shall burn as its memorial portion some of the crushed grain and some of the oil with all of its frankincense; it is a food offering to the LORD. The priest shall burn the memorial portion of the crushed grain and the oil, together with all the incense, as a food offering presented to the LORD.
