| 11 | ἀμὴν ἀμὴν λέγω σοι ὅτι ὃ οἴδαμεν λαλοῦμεν καὶ ὃ ἑωράκαμεν μαρτυροῦμεν καὶ τὴν μαρτυρίαν ἡμῶν οὐ λαμβάνετε | Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony. | Very truly I tell you, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony. | |
| 12 | Εἰ τὰ ἐπίγεια εἶπον ὑμῖν καὶ οὐ πιστεύετε πῶς ἐὰν εἴπω ὑμῖν τὰ ἐπουράνια πιστεύσετε | If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? | I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things? | |
