1 When Jesus had finished saying these things, he looked upward to heaven and said, |Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, so that your Son may glorify you-- When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.
2 just as you have given him authority over all humanity, so that he may give eternal life to everyone you have given him. since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him.
3 Now this is eternal life--that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you sent. And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
4 I glorified you on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. I glorified you on earth, having accomplished the work that you gave me to do. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.
5 And now, Father, glorify me at your side with the glory I had with you before the world was created. And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.
6 |I have revealed your name to the men you gave me out of the world. They belonged to you, and you gave them to me, and they have obeyed your word. “I have manifested your name to the people whom you gave me out of the world. Yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your word. “I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.
7 Now they understand that everything you have given me comes from you, Now they know that everything that you have given me is from you. Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you.
8 because I have given them the words you have given me. They accepted them and really understand that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. For I have given them the words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that I came from you; and they have believed that you sent me. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.
9 I am praying on behalf of them. I am not praying on behalf of the world, but on behalf of those you have given me, because they belong to you. I am praying for them. I am not praying for the world but for those whom you have given me, for they are yours. I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours.
10 Everything I have belongs to you, and everything you have belongs to me, and I have been glorified by them. All mine are yours, and yours are mine, and I am glorified in them. All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.
11 I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them safe in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one just as we are one. And I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, which you have given me, that they may be one, even as we are one. I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.
12 When I was with them I kept them safe and watched over them in your name that you have given me. Not one of them was lost except the one destined for destruction, so that the scripture could be fulfilled. While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I have guarded them, and not one of them has been lost except the son of destruction, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.
13 But now I am coming to you, and I am saying these things in the world, so they may experience my joy completed in themselves. But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves. “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.
14 I have given them your word, and the world has hated them, because they do not belong to the world, just as I do not belong to the world. I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.
15 I am not asking you to take them out of the world, but that you keep them safe from the evil one. I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
16 They do not belong to the world just as I do not belong to the world. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.
17 Set them apart in the truth; your word is truth. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
18 Just as you sent me into the world, so I sent them into the world. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.
19 And I set myself apart on their behalf, so that they too may be truly set apart. And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be sanctified in truth. For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
20 |I am not praying only on their behalf, but also on behalf of those who believe in me through their testimony, “I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,
21 that they will all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you. I pray that they will be in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me. that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
22 The glory you gave to me I have given to them, that they may be one just as we are one-- The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—
23 I in them and you in me--that they may be completely one, so that the world will know that you sent me, and you have loved them just as you have loved me. I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me. I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
24 |Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they can see my glory that you gave me because you loved me before the creation of the world. Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.
25 Righteous Father, even if the world does not know you, I know you, and these men know that you sent me. O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me. “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me.
26 I made known your name to them, and I will continue to make it known, so that the love you have loved me with may be in them, and I may be in them.| I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.” I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.”
