1 CALL now, I pray you; is there any one to answer you? And to which of the holy ones will you turn? “Call now; is there anyone who will answer you? To which of the holy ones will you turn? “Call if you will, but who will answer you? To which of the holy ones will you turn?
2 For anger kills the foolish man, and enmity slays the silly one. Surely vexation kills the fool, and jealousy slays the simple. Resentment kills a fool, and envy slays the simple.
3 I have seen the wicked prosper; but his habitation is suddenly destroyed. I have seen the fool taking root, but suddenly I cursed his dwelling. I myself have seen a fool taking root, but suddenly his house was cursed.
4 His children are far from salvation, and they are humiliated at the gate, and there is no one to deliver them. His children are far from safety; they are crushed in the gate, and there is no one to deliver them. His children are far from safety, crushed in court without a defender.
5 His harvest the hungry eat up; and they shall pour out water to the thirsty, and the thirsty devour their substance. 11 To set up on high those that are lowly; and the meek shall be exalted by salvation. he sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety. The lowly he sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety.

21 You shall be protected from the scourge of the tongue; and you shall not be afraid of destruction when it comes. 24 You shall know that your tabernacle shall be in peace; and you shall return to your habitation, and shall not sin. You shall know that your tent is at peace, and you shall inspect your fold and miss nothing. You will know that your tent is secure; you will take stock of your property and find nothing missing.
25 You shall know also that your descendants shall be many, and your offspring like the grass of the earth. You shall know also that your offspring shall be many, and your descendants as the grass of the earth. You will know that your children will be many, and your descendants like the grass of the earth.
26 You shall come to your grave gently, like a shock of grain in its season. You shall come to your grave in ripe old age, like a sheaf gathered up in its season. You will come to the grave in full vigor, like sheaves gathered in season.
27 Lo this thing we have searched, and it is so; we have heard it; and you know it for your good. Behold, this we have searched out; it is true. Hear, and know it for your good.” “We have examined this, and it is true. So hear it and apply it to yourself.”
