7 ἠλάττωσας αὐτὸν βραχύ τι παρ’ ἀγγέλους δόξῃ καὶ τιμῇ ἐστεφάνωσας αὐτόν (καὶ κατέστησας αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τὰ ἔργα τῶν χειρῶν σου) You made him for a little while lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor, You made them a little lower than the angels; you crowned them with glory and honor
8 πάντα ὑπέταξας ὑποκάτω τῶν ποδῶν αὐτοῦ Ἐν τῷ γὰρ ὑποτάξαι αὐτῷ τὰ πάντα οὐδὲν ἀφῆκεν αὐτῷ ἀνυπότακτον νῦν δὲ οὔπω ὁρῶμεν αὐτῷ τὰ πάντα ὑποτεταγμένα putting everything in subjection under his feet.” Now in putting everything in subjection to him, he left nothing outside his control. At present, we do not yet see everything in subjection to him. and put everything under their feet.” In putting everything under them, God left nothing that is not subject to them.
