1 LET brotherly love continue in you. Let brotherly love continue. Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.
2 And forget not hospitality toward strangers: For thereby some were worthy to entertain angels unawares. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.
3 Remember those who are in prison, as though you were a prisoner with them; remember those who suffer adversity, for you are human also. Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.
4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge those who practice vice and adultery; Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
5 Do not be carried away by the love of money; but be content with what you have: for the LORD himself has said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
6 So that we may boldly say, The LORD is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
7 Remember those who are your leaders, those who have spoken the word of God to you: mark the completeness of their works, and imitate their faith. Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. 9 Do not be carried away by strange and divers doctrines. For it is a good thing to strengthen our hearts with grace; not with food, because it did not help those who greatly sought after it. Do not be led away by diverse and strange teachings, for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace, not by foods, which have not benefited those devoted to them. Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by eating ceremonial foods, which is of no benefit to those who do so.

11 For the flesh of the beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, is burned outside the camp. For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp.
12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify his people with his own blood, suffered outside the city. So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood.
13 Let us go forth therefore to him outside the camp, bearing his reproach. Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured. Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore.
14 For here we have not a permanent city, but we seek one to come. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.
15 By him, therefore, let us always offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of the lips giving thanks to his name. Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name. Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.
16 And do not forget kindness and fellowship with the poor: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
17 Listen to your spiritual leaders, and obey them: for they are watchful guardians of your souls, as one who must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you. Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you. Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.
18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly. Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things. Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way.
19 But above all, I beseech you to do this that I may return to you sooner. I urge you the more earnestly to do this in order that I may be restored to you the sooner. I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon.

21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in us that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. 22 And I beseech you, my brethren, to be patient in the word of comfort: for I have written you very briefly. 23 You should know our brother Timothy has been set at liberty; and if he should come shortly, I will see you together with him. You should know that our brother Timothy has been released, with whom I shall see you if he comes soon. I want you to know that our brother Timothy has been released. If he arrives soon, I will come with him to see you.
24 Salute all your spiritual leaders and all the saints. All of the brethren of Italy salute you. Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those who come from Italy send you greetings. Greet all your leaders and all the Lord’s people. Those from Italy send you their greetings.
25 Grace be with you all. Amen. Grace be with all of you. Grace be with you all.
