1 FROM of old God spoke to our fathers by the prophets in every manner and in all ways; and in these latter days, he has spoken to us by his Son; Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways,
2 Whom he has appointed heir of all things, and by whom also he made the worlds; but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.
3 For he is the brightness of his glory and the express image of his being, upholding all things by the power of his word; and when he had through his person, cleansed our sins, then he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
4 And he is altogether greater than the angels, just as the name he has inherited is a more excellent name than theirs. having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.
5 For to which of the angels has God at any time, said You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son, today I have begotten you”? Or again, “I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a son”? For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father|? Or again, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son|?
6 And again, when he brought the Firstbegotten into the world, he said, Let all the angels of God worship him. And again, when he brings the firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.” And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”
7 And of the angels he said thus, Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire. Of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, and his ministers a flame of fire.” In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels spirits, and his servants flames of fire.”
8 But of the Son he said, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the scepter of thy kingdom is a right scepter. But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom. But about the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.
9 You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore, God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness more than your fellows. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.” You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”
10 And from the very beginning you have laid the foundations of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands: And, “You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; He also says, “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.
11 They shall pass away; but you shall endure; and they all shall wear out like a garment; they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment.
12 And as a cloak you shall fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall never end. like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end.” You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.”
13 For to which of the angels has he at any time said, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool under your feet? And to which of the angels has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”? To which of the angels did God ever say, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet|?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth in the service for those who shall inherit life everlasting? Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation? Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
