Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood. Two cubits and a half was its length, a cubit and a half its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood, two and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide, and one and a half cubits high. Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood—two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.
And he overlaid it with pure gold inside and outside, and made a molding of gold around it. The inside and outside were plated with gold, and a molding of gold was put around it. He overlaid it with pure gold, both inside and out, and made a gold molding around it.
And he cast for it four rings of gold for its four feet, two rings on its one side and two rings on its other side. Four gold rings were cast for its four supports, two rings on one side and two on the opposite side. He cast four gold rings for it and fastened them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other.
And he made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold Poles of acacia wood were made and plated with gold; Then he made poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
and put the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry the ark. these poles were put through the rings on the sides of the ark, for carrying it. And he inserted the poles into the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it.
And he made a mercy seat of pure gold. Two cubits and a half was its length, and a cubit and a half its breadth. The cover was made of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and one and a half cubits wide. He made the atonement cover of pure gold—two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide.
And he made two cherubim of gold. He made them of hammered work on the two ends of the mercy seat, Two cherubim of beaten gold were made for the two ends of the cover; Then he made two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover.
one cherub on the one end, and one cherub on the other end. Of one piece with the mercy seat he made the cherubim on its two ends. one cherub was at one end, the other at the other end, made of one piece with the cover, at each end. He made one cherub on one end and the second cherub on the other; at the two ends he made them of one piece with the cover.
The cherubim spread out their wings above, overshadowing the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces one to another; toward the mercy seat were the faces of the cherubim. The cherubim had their wings spread out above, sheltering the cover. They faced each other, with their faces looking toward the cover. The cherubim had their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim faced each other, looking toward the cover.
He also made the table of acacia wood. Two cubits was its length, a cubit its breadth, and a cubit and a half its height. The table was made of acacia wood, two cubits long, a cubit wide, and a cubit and a half high. They made the table of acacia wood—two cubits long, a cubit wide and a cubit and a half high.
And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made a molding of gold around it. It was plated with pure gold, and a molding of gold was put around it. Then they overlaid it with pure gold and made a gold molding around it.
And he made a rim around it a handbreadth wide, and made a molding of gold around the rim. A frame a handbreadth high was also put around it, with a molding of gold around the frame. They also made around it a rim a handbreadth wide and put a gold molding on the rim.
He cast for it four rings of gold and fastened the rings to the four corners at its four legs. Four rings of gold were cast for it and fastened at the four corners, one at each leg. They cast four gold rings for the table and fastened them to the four corners, where the four legs were.
Close to the frame were the rings, as holders for the poles to carry the table. The rings were alongside the frame as holders for the poles to carry the table. The rings were put close to the rim to hold the poles used in carrying the table.
He made the poles of acacia wood to carry the table, and overlaid them with gold. These poles for carrying the table were made of acacia wood and plated with gold. The poles for carrying the table were made of acacia wood and were overlaid with gold.
And he made the vessels of pure gold that were to be on the table, its plates and dishes for incense, and its bowls and flagons with which to pour drink offerings. The vessels that were set on the table, its plates and cups, as well as its pitchers and bowls for pouring libations, were made of pure gold. And they made from pure gold the articles for the table—its plates and dishes and bowls and its pitchers for the pouring out of drink offerings.
He also made the lampstand of pure gold. He made the lampstand of hammered work. Its base, its stem, its cups, its calyxes, and its flowers were of one piece with it. The menorah was made of pure beaten gold—its shaft and branches—with its cups and knobs and petals springing directly from it. They made the lampstand of pure gold. They hammered out its base and shaft, and made its flowerlike cups, buds and blossoms of one piece with them.
And there were six branches going out of its sides, three branches of the lampstand out of one side of it and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side of it; Six branches extended from its sides, three branches on one side and three on the other. Six branches extended from the sides of the lampstand—three on one side and three on the other.
three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on one branch, and three cups made like almond blossoms, each with calyx and flower, on the other branch—so for the six branches going out of the lampstand. On one branch there were three cups, shaped like almond blossoms, each with its knob and petals; on the opposite branch there were three cups, shaped like almond blossoms, each with its knob and petals; and so for the six branches that extended from the menorah. Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms were on one branch, three on the next branch and the same for all six branches extending from the lampstand.
And on the lampstand itself were four cups made like almond blossoms, with their calyxes and flowers, On the menorah there were four cups, shaped like almond blossoms, with their knobs and petals. And on the lampstand were four cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms.
and a calyx of one piece with it under each pair of the six branches going out of it. The six branches that went out from the menorah had a knob under each pair. One bud was under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand, a second bud under the second pair, and a third bud under the third pair—six branches in all.
Their calyxes and their branches were of one piece with it. The whole of it was a single piece of hammered work of pure gold. The knobs and branches so sprang from it that the whole formed but a single piece of pure beaten gold. The buds and the branches were all of one piece with the lampstand, hammered out of pure gold.
And he made its seven lamps and its tongs and its trays of pure gold. Its seven lamps, as well as its trimming shears and trays, were made of pure gold. They made its seven lamps, as well as its wick trimmers and trays, of pure gold.
He made it and all its utensils out of a talent of pure gold. A talent of pure gold was used for the menorah and its various utensils. They made the lampstand and all its accessories from one talent of pure gold.
He made the altar of incense of acacia wood. Its length was a cubit, and its breadth was a cubit. It was square, and two cubits was its height. Its horns were of one piece with it. The altar of incense was made of acacia wood, on a square, a cubit long, a cubit wide, and two cubits high, having horns that sprang directly from it. They made the altar of incense out of acacia wood. It was square, a cubit long and a cubit wide and two cubits high —its horns of one piece with it.
He overlaid it with pure gold, its top and around its sides and its horns. And he made a molding of gold around it, Its grate on top, its walls on all four sides, and its horns were plated with pure gold; and a gold molding was put around it. They overlaid the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and made a gold molding around it.
and made two rings of gold on it under its molding, on two opposite sides of it, as holders for the poles with which to carry it. Underneath the molding gold rings were placed, two on one side and two on the opposite side, as holders for the poles used in carrying it. They made two gold rings below the molding—two on each of the opposite sides—to hold the poles used to carry it.
And he made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold. The poles, too, were made of acacia wood and plated with gold. They made the poles of acacia wood and overlaid them with gold.
He made the holy anointing oil also, and the pure fragrant incense, blended as by the perfumer. The sacred anointing oil and the fragrant incense were prepared in their pure form by a perfumer. They also made the sacred anointing oil and the pure, fragrant incense—the work of a perfumer.
