1 Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as God has shown us mercy, we do not become discouraged. Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.
2 But we have rejected shameful hidden deeds, not behaving with deceptiveness or distorting the word of God, but by open proclamation of the truth we commend ourselves to everyone's conscience before God. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God’s word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God. Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.
3 But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing, And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.

18 because we are not looking at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
