6 וַיַּ֨עַל דָּוִ֤יד וְכָל־ יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בַּעֲלָ֔תָה אֶל־ קִרְיַ֥ת יְעָרִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר לִיהוּדָ֑ה לְהַעֲל֣וֹת מִשָּׁ֗ם אֵת֩ אֲר֨וֹן הָאֱלֹהִ֧ים ׀ יְהוָ֛ה יוֹשֵׁ֥ב הַכְּרוּבִ֖ים אֲשֶׁר־ נִקְרָ֥א שֵֽׁם׃ And David and all Israel went up to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the LORD who sits enthroned above the cherubim. David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah (Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the LORD, who is enthroned between the cherubim—the ark that is called by the Name.
7 וַיַּרְכִּ֜יבוּ אֶת־ אֲר֤וֹן הָאֱלֹהִים֙ עַל־ עֲגָלָ֣ה חֲדָשָׁ֔ה מִבֵּ֖ית אֲבִינָדָ֑ב וְעֻזָּ֣א וְאַחְי֔וֹ נֹהֲגִ֖ים בָּעֲגָלָֽה׃ And they carried the ark of God on a new cart, from the house of Abinadab, and Uzzah and Ahio were driving the cart. They moved the ark of God from Abinadab’s house on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding it.
8 וְדָוִ֣יד וְכָל־ יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל מְשַׂחֲקִ֛ים לִפְנֵ֥י הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים בְּכָל־ עֹ֑ז וּבְשִׁירִ֤ים וּבְכִנֹּרוֹת֙ וּבִנְבָלִ֣ים וּבְתֻפִּ֔ים וּבִמְצִלְתַּ֖יִם וּבַחֲצֹצְרֽוֹת׃ And David and all Israel were celebrating before God with all their might, with song and lyres and harps and tambourines and cymbals and trumpets. David and all the Israelites were celebrating with all their might before God, with songs and with harps, lyres, timbrels, cymbals and trumpets.
