Psalm 23
NLT Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New Living TranslationInternational Standard Version
1The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need.1The LORD is the one who is shepherding me; I lack nothing.
2He lets me rest in green meadows; he leads me beside peaceful streams.2He causes me to lie down in pastures of green grass; he guides me beside quiet waters.
3He renews my strength. He guides me along right paths, bringing honor to his name.3He revives my life; he leads me in pathways that are righteous for the sake of his name.
4Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.4Even when I walk through a valley of deep darkness, I will not be afraid because you are with me. Your rod and your staff—they comfort me.
5You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies. You honor me by anointing my head with oil. My cup overflows with blessings.5You prepare a table before me, even in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.6Truly, goodness and gracious love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will remain in the LORD's Temple forever.
